Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Senior Sales Director to lead new business development and client development with institutional investors and insurance asset managers in the leveraged loan, high yield bond and syndicate loan markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business development and client development with institutional investors and insurance asset managers in the leveraged loan, high yield bond and syndicate loan markets
  • Drive revenue growth, client retention and market penetration in the leveraged loan, high yield bond and syndicate loan markets
  • Meet and exceed financial and strategic objectives set by group head
  • Collaborate closely with credit, analytics, marketing and sales to execute consistent commercial revenue growth strategy
  • Pursue and close new business and actively participate in client engagement activities (i.e., client visits, marketing presentations, etc.)
  • Educate clients on the competitive advantages the firm’s research and analysis offers
  • Gather and analyze client feedback and utilize results to hone client marketing strategy
  • Analyze global industry trends and produce actionable market intelligence
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve group revenue goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years’ credit, leveraged loan, high yield bond or syndicate loan sales experience
  • Deep knowledge of the leveraged loan, high yield bond and syndicate loan markets
  • Existing relationships with institutional investors, portfolio managers, traders and sector analysts at leading leveraged loan and high yield bond platforms
  • Advanced relationship building, client development and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate strategic initiatives,¬†identify customer needs, create actionable solutions and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel as required

  • Conduct industry, market and sector-based research

Requirements:
