Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal support to the investment team in structuring, implementing and managing a various complex asset-backed securitizations. Additionally, you will provide legal support for the entire investment portfolio and advise various service providers and portfolio companies that support these initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to the investment team in structuring, implementing and managing a various complex asset-backed securitizations
  • Provide legal support for the entire investment portfolio and advise various service providers and portfolio companies that support these initiatives
  • Provide legal, reputational risk and legal advice
  • Negotiate, review and draft transaction documentation
  • Assist capital markets and securities teams with various legal matters
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders when structuring new transactions

Requirements:

  • JD with NY Bar Admission
  • 2+ years of legal experience specializing in complex asset-backed securitizations
  • Experience at an elite law firm, investment bank or investment fund required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of structured product asset classes: ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage complex and bespoke deals and transactions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean and entrepreneurial environment

Our elite global Financial Industry client is seeking to recruit a Senior Director to drive revenue generation through new business development and maintaining existing institutional investor relationships – leveraged loans investors, high yield bonds investors, bond portfolio managers, CLO managers, etc.  The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record in institutional fixed income/credit sales, trading or bond syndication and strong relationships with loan managers and  institutional investors.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive revenue generation through new business development and maintaining existing institutional investor relationships – leveraged loans investors, high yield bonds investors, bond portfolio managers, CLO managers, etc.
  • Leverage strong relationships with loan managers and  institutional investors to win new business mandates
  • Develop relationships with portfolio managers, traders, industry analysts and other key stakeholders at CLO, leveraged loan and high yield fund managers
  • Conduct and analyze market research, prepare pitches and deliver presentations to drive value propositions and ultimately originate new business mandates
  • Negotiate new business deals
  • Collaborate with origination and analytical teams across the structured credit group globally to maximize outreach efforts and messaging

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of institutional fixed income/credit sales, trading or bond syndication experience
  • Demonstrated relationships with CLO, leveraged loan and high yield fund managers and sophisticated fixed income and credit institutional investors
  • Advanced business development, client relationship management and strategic marketing skills

Our elite global Financial Industry client is seeking to recruit a Senior Relationship Manager to perform new business development and maintaining existing relationships with CLO asset managers and loan capital markets / structured credit bankers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform new business development and maintaining existing relationships with CLO asset managers and loan capital markets / structured credit bankers
  • Prepare marketing collateral and presentations and deliver pitches to originate new business
  • Negotiate new business contracts and renewals and prepare associated fee letters and legal documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the structured credit relationship management team to maximize outreach efforts, new business generation and revenue retention with CLO asset managers and syndicate bankers
  • Assist group leadership with special projects, competitive analysis, product development and strategic marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with industry analysts to compelling marketing and pitch materials
  • Work closely with marketing teams to coordinate market analysis and industry event participation

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of CLO, loan capital markets, leveraged finance and structured finance experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build commercial relationships and execute new business development initiatives
  • Established contacts with CLO asset managers and structured finance syndicate bankers
  • Fundamental knowledge of structured credit analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to create bespoke marketing collateral and deliver client-facing pitches
  • Prior structured finance business development experience at a syndicate bank, asset manager, credit rating agency or professional services firm strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
