Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit quality and author market commentary across the US regulated insurance sector
  • Analyze the credit quality of issued debt and perform default risk analysis
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with senior management of insurance companies under coverage
  • Interact with buy side / sell side analysts, institutional investors, investment bankers and the financial media
  • Perform complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Participate in the internal credit committee review process
  • Communicate analysis with key market participants and media stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ property & casualty or life insurance financial or credit analysis

  • Demonstrated financial modeling ability
  • Experience analyzing project financing documentation
