Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Senior Director level banker to lead new business development with middle market and/or large cap Private Equity financial sponsors with the goal of winning new business mandates and driving long-term revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and long-term revenue growth with investment grade, high yield and leveraged finance bankers, financial sponsors, issuers and investors
- Work closely with global counterparts and senior management to build and execute a winning marketing strategy and support cross-border opportunities
- Develop relationships that result in long-term revenue growth with existing clients and prospective customers
- Promote the firm’s market capabilities and educate clients and prospective clients on the firm’s competitive advantages and value-added positions
- Develop market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry analysis
- Assist with developing marketing materials, client presentations and pitchbooks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
- 10 years’ leveraged finance investment banking experience
- Strong relationships with capital markets teams at leading middle market or large cap private equity firms
- Demonstrated experience originating and closing new business
- Broad deal/transaction experience in the debt capital markets industry
- Business development and client management skills
- Travel required
