Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Director to lead new business development with private equity sponsors and corporate debt issuers. Well established with private equity sponsors and corporate debt issuers required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform new business development with private equity sponsors and leveraged finance and high yield corporate debt issuers
- Develop and execute strategic plans that lead to long-term revenue growth
- Work closely with global colleagues and senior management on strategic marketing planning and execution
- Develop a cohesive messaging strategy that will effectively drive revenue and brand engagement
- Assist with cross-border initiatives
- Pitch the firm’s strategic philosophy, market insights and competitive value advantages directly with clients and prospects
- Analyze market conditions, competitives, and industry intelligence to assist with pitch development and marketing content
- Mentor and coach junior relationship managers
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ leveraged finance experience at a top-tier global investment bank
- Well developed relationships with private equity sponsors and corporate debt issuers
- Demonstrated capital markets, syndication or leveraged finance/high yield origination and execution experience
- Healthcare, Consumer/Retail, Business Services or Industrials industry experience preferred
- New business development and commercial relationship management expertise
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
