Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Director to drive revenue generation and long-term relationship development with middle market financial sponsors and private debt investors.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development efforts and long-term revenue generation with middle market financial sponsors and private debt investors
- Work closely with global counterparts and senior management to build and execute a winning marketing strategy and support cross-border opportunities
- Develop relationships that result in long-term revenue growth with existing clients and prospective customers
- Promote the firm’s market capabilities and educate clients and prospective clients on the firm’s competitive advantages and value-added positions
- Develop market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry analysis
- Assist with developing marketing materials, client presenations and pitchbooks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
- 7+ years’ private debt investing/origination or middle market financial sponsor coverage experience
- Well developed relationships with middle market private equity capital markets deal leaders
- Demonstrated knowledge of the private debt and fixed income capital markets industry
- Business development and client management skills
- Travel required
