Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Director with origination, investing or capital markets coverage experience in the insurance industry or private debt / asset management industry focused on insurance industry investing.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and foster long-term revenue based relationships with private debt investors, asset managers and insurance companies in the fixed income credit markets
- Collaborate with US and global relationship managers and other key stakeholders to execute a cohesive marketing strategy and support cross-border opportunities
- Develop relationships that result in recurring revenue with existing clients and prospective customers
- Promote the firm’s market capabilities and educate clients and prospective clients on the firm’s competitive advantages and value-added positions
- Develop market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry analysis
- Assist with developing marketing materials, client presenations and pitchbooks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
- 10+ years’ fixed income credit origination, portfolio management or asset allocation experience
- Prior experience in the insurance, private debt or investment management industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of the global insurance industry and well developed relationships with fixed income investors in the insurance industry
- Business development and client management skills
- Travel required
