Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Business Development Advisor to directly support the firm’s Executive Partner/Head of Private Equity in driving practice growth globally and leading new business development strategic planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Directly support the firm’s Executive Partner/Head of Private Equity in driving practice growth globally and leading new business development strategic planning and execution
- Oversee high-volume new business pitches and complex proposals and respond to RFP/RFI requests in a timely manner
- Analyze the competitive landscape and develop targeting strategies for existing and new client pitches
- Conduct deep-dive market research and industry trend analysis to identify potential new business opportunities
- Prepare the executive partner for client-facing pitches, events and presentations
- Collaborate with business development and marketing communications colleagues globally to develop marketing collateral, thought leadership pieces and other relevant information that will support revenue growth opportunities
- Assist the executive partner with strategic planning and special projects
- Manage the team’s Business Development Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA or JD a plus
- 10+ years’ business development leadership experience at an elite global law firm, management consulting firm (Big 4) or global financial services industry
- Current or prior big law firm experience is required
- Advanced business development strategy and execution experience
- Demonstrated pitch and proposal development skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Advanced technical skills, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly motivated and confident with a polished and professional makeup
- Intuitive personality with strong critical thinking skills and proactive problem solving ability
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
- Prior people/team management experience
