Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Business Development Specialist to play a lead role in developing and executing business development, strategic marketing and revenue growth strategy for the US Corporate practice (M&A, Capital Markets, Financing, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Play a lead role in developing and executing business development, strategic marketing and revenue growth strategy for the US Corporate practice (M&A, Capital Markets, Financing, etc.)
  • Work closely with the partners, attorneys and other key practice stakeholders on practice-wide and firmwide growth initiatives and maintain strong relationships with attorneys
  • Assist with market, client and competitor research to identify industry trends and new business development opportunities across industry practice groups
  • Assist with developing bespoke and custom pitches and RFP requests
  • Assist with client follow up post pitch to gather feedback and measure and maximize new business wins
  • Work closely with Competitive Intelligence colleagues to prepare and gather research focused on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with current and prospective clients
  • Assist with the award and legal directory submission process
  • Draft, edit and maintain traditional and digital marketing collateral and content
  • Work closely with media and communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging across all distribution channels and to identify public relations opportunities to promote the practice and individual attorneys

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of business development or strategic marketing experience at a global law firm or professional services organization
  • Experience with customized pitch development and RFP responses
  • Experience developing marketing collateral and content
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to influence key decision makers
  • Advance project management and project delivery skills
