Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to develop long-term revenue generating relationships and manage existing clients in the high yield and investment grade capital markets industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new revenue generating relationships and manage/grow existing client relationships with bankers, financial sponors, corporate issuers and investors in the high yield and investment grade capital markets industry
- Work closely with the global team members and executive leadership to develop and execute a united messaging strategy to drive cohesive that will help drive revenue and develop recurring business opportunities with existing customers and new prospects
- Collaborate with global colleagues on cross-border opportunities
- Promote the firm’s competitive advantages and educate clients and prospective clients on industry trends, strategic market opportunities and value-added propositions
- Develop market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry analysis
- Assist with developing pitch, proposal and strategic marekting content
- Utilize Salesforce to manage client marketing activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
- 10+ years’ bulge bracket corporate or investment banking coverage and execution experience (industry agnostic)
- Well developed coverage relationships with private equity sponsors, C-level corporate issuers, syndicate bankers and institutional investors in the leveraged finance, high yield and/or investment grade capital markets industry
- Demonstrated new business development, strategic marketing and relationship management skills
- Travel required (post Covid)
