Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Business Development Advisor to develop strategic business objectives, drive practice revenue growth, enhance practice visibility with clients and prospects and advise Partners on client development initiatives across the US Music and Entertainment practice group.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic business objectives, drive practice revenue growth, enhance practice visibility with clients and prospects and advise Partners on client development initiatives across the US Music and Entertainment practice group
  • Target and develop long-term relationships with prospective clients
  • Source, identify and analyze pitch opportunities for the practice
  • Analyze market trends and develop innovative solutions to drive revenue growth
  • Develop client outreach strategies that align with practice goals and assist with the planning and execution of blue-chip client events
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities and work with marketing colleagues to maximize executive visibility and firm branding strategies
  • Collaborate with partners in other practice groups to build a cohesive client development strategy in the LA market
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development colleagues to share regional market intelligence and client feedback for strategic business planning efforts
  • Analyze market and industry trends to identify new business targets and client development strategies
  • Develop bespoke client development strategies for specific client development strategies
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of business development and client development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • JD preferred
  • 10+ years of legal business development or strategic sales in the legal or financial services industry
  • Highly motivated self starter with excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the US entertainment and music industries
  • Creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to drive client development, client event and sponsorship strategies
