Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Analyst to support pitch development/RFP responses, analyze industry, company and competitive intelligence research and support global business development strategy across multiple practice groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pitch development/RFP responses, analyze industry, company and competitive intelligence research and support global business development strategy across multiple practice groups
  • Analyze daily market intelligence to identify potential deals that can be pitched to partners for review
  • Analyze and monitor trends and developments in various industries and geographic regions
  • Benchmark deal activity versus competitors by analyzing legal industry publications. league table rankings and legal media/news sources
  • Compile and analyze industry lists by region to better understand the firm’s coverage and market share
  • Assist with pitches, proposals and responses to RFPs
  • Perform special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant business development or marketing experience
  • Prior law firm/legal industry experience strongly preferred, but will considering candidates from the professional services or financial services industry
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Fundamental understanding of financial markets
  • Highly motivated and driven with an outgoing personality
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Superb communication, interpersonal, presentation and business writing skills
  • Ability to consumer and synthesize complex data and draw actionable conclusions
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime to meet practice and business needs
  • Proficient MS Office skills (strong Excel skills required)

Our elite global Professional Services client is seeking to recruit an Associate Director Alumni Engagement to manage the alumni engagement team, manage department operations, oversee and manage the global alumni database and collaborate with partners and key stakeholders across practice groups and offices on alumni outreach strategies, content development and promotional objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the alumni engagement team, day-to-day department operations and the global alumni database
  • Collaborate with partners, practice group leaders and other key stakeholders on alumni outreach strategies, content development and promotional objectives
  • Identify and execute alumni outreach opportunities
  • Oversee and manage content on the alumni website and the bi-annual alumni publication
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and editing teams on content for publication
  • Work with professional development and continuing education teams on expanded career development offerings for alumni
  • Analyze and report on metrics measuring engagement and succuss of the alumni relations program
  • Track alumni referrals and job movement
  • Develop strategic plans and goal setting for the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm on knowledge sharing, best practices and brainstorming
  • Oversee, manage and forecast the department budget
  • Coach and mentor department staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Interview, hire and train new staff members
  • Participate in special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of professional services or legal industry alumni engagement/relations leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, mentoring and professionally evaluating junior staff
  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed global environment
  • Budgeting, forecasting and department management experience
  • Advanced leadership skills
  • Creative problem solving mindset
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as required
