Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a two Senior Credit Analysts: ABS) analyze complex consumer, esoteric and commercial ABS transactions, perform collateral analysis, evaluate and model underlying credit structures and mentor junior analysts; CMBS) analyze various CMBS transactions and securitizations and mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • ABS: Analyze complex consumer, esoteric and commercial ABS transactions, perform collateral analysis, evaluate and model underlying credit structures and mentor junior analysts
  • CMBS: Analyze various CMBS transactions and securitizations and mentor junior analysts
  • Lead analysis of bond originators and servicers
  • Model and analyze bond structures including the reviews of legal structures and transaction documentation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, deal participants and firm clients
  • Lead ongoing surveillance of existing transactions and evaluate and report on changes to creditworthiness
  • Author and publish credit research, methodology analysis and topical market commentary
  • Manage, coach and mentor junior credit analysts
  • Attend and participate in industry events and investor roundtables

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Approximately 10 years of structured finance credit analysis experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • ABS: Demonstrated experience analyzing the credit worthiness across ABS asset classes
  • CMBS: Demonstrated CMBS securitization or Commercial Real Estate underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of consumer, esoteric and commercial ABS asset classes preferred
  • Advanced financial modeling and cash flow modeling experience
  • Advanced business writing skills
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior analysts
  • Ability to travel as required

  • Author credit research reports highlighting investment analysis, investment risk potential and actionable investment recommendations
  • Analyze and monitor existing portfolio investments and make updated recommendations based on market conditions, financial news, geopolitical activities, rating agency analysis and other market and industry factors

Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding of private placement investments
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex financial data and draw cogent investment recommendations
  • Strong financial analysis skills with demonstrated ability to analyze corporate financial statements
  • Ability to interact with key stakeholders and influence decision making
