Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Analyst to analyze new issue consumer ABS transactions and provide ongoing monitoring and surveillance across multiple consumer ABS asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze consumer ABS credit across multiple asset classes – student loans, consumer loans, auto loans, solar loans, etc.
- Perform transaction, cash flow, loan pool, and bond structure analysis
- Evaluate ABS originators and loan servicers
- Write detailed credit reports and present to internal credit committees
- Participate in bond issuer due diligence, including site visits as required
- Proactively monitor and surveille active transactions and update credit analysis as needed
- Assist with industry and topical report development and marketing collateral
- Periodic travel required (not heavy)
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of Consumer ABS credit analysis
- Prior rating agency or sell side/banking credit analysis experience preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Intex experience preferred
- Advanced business writing skills
- Demonstrated ABS transaction analysis experience including cash flow analysis, loan pool analysis, bond structure analysis and bond originator/servicer evaluation experience
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to travel as required
