Our global FinTech client is seeking to recruit a Sales Director with direct sales experience in renewable energy project and infrastructure finance (capital markets) industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process and educate customers on the firm’s unique value-added product and platform capabilities
  • Directly sell the firm’s platform to C-level capital markets and risk management executives in the renewable energy project and infrastructure finance industry
  • Perform comprehensive territory planning and market analysis to effectively source new leads and drive new revenue growth
  • Manage consistent pipeline activity, negotiate deal terms and close new accounts
  • Work closely with product development and client development teams to target new business opportunities and ensure proper customer support
  • Produce and analyze monthly sales forecasts against targets and track all customer engagement activity in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development and client development to design marketing campaigns to engage existing customers and attract new clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ direct sales and new business development experience in the renewable energy project and infrastructure finance industry
  • SaaS platform B2B sales experience preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of the renewable energy and solar project finance / capital markets
  • Well developed C-level / MD level relationships in the renewable energy and solar project finance industry (banks, asset managers, credit rating agencies, renewable energy providers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated lead generation, territory planning, negotiating and revenue generation experience
  • Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as required
