Our global Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a Team Leader Business System Analyst to collaborate with front office investment teams and technology teams to identify information and technology that will improve investment data quality, systems, and business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with technology development teams to assist with the design and implementation of new systems capabilities
- Liaise with business and technology teams to identify and foster opportunities to use information and technology to improve investment data quality, systems and business processes
- Define and document requirements, project scope, process flows and data mapping and advise stakeholders on means necessary to drive projects to delivery
- Establish and maintain standards for requirements gathering, documentation, business processes and best practices
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop project vision, roadmaps and strategic priorities
- Perform, managed and track user acceptance and production testing
- Identify, investigate and solve business process, system and data quality issues
- Utilize business intelligence knowledge to help implement and improve reporting in the investment data management platform
- Develop and manage reports and dashboards
- Gather and document business processes and system requirements
- Assist with ad hoc and special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business related field
- 5+ years’ business analysis, systems analysis or project management experience in the asset management or financial services industry industry
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Business Objects (SAP) and Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to write scripts and queries
- Demonstrated knowledge of QA processes, user acceptance testing and production testing
- Demonstrated expertise with requirements gathering and documentation and the ability to effectively liaise with project managers and business end-users to understand business needs, develop actionable requirements and deliver complex projects
- Experience with business intelligence tools, data mapping, and end-to-end system integration across multiple platforms
- Experience with BlackRock Aladdin, Markit EDM or Incorta is a plus
- Superb communication, interpersonal and business writing skills
