Our global Financial Market Intelligence client is seeking to recruit an Industry Sector Analyst to produce short-term and long-term industry, macro and credit commentary and opinion pieces consumed by institutional investors and capital markets professionals in the corporate bond market. The primary focus will be the North America non-bank financials sector.
Responsibilities:
- Work with industry-specific analysts to produce cross-sector industry and credit research commentary that will be consumed by institutional investors and internal and external audiences in the capital markets sector
- Author and publish opinionated commentary covering significant topics and themes affecting a variety of industry sectors in North America with a primary focus on the on the non-bank financials sector
- Analyze the North American corporate credit and bond markets
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams
- Collaborate with internal analysts and credit officers to brainstorm ideas and drive themes that will further engage key audiences in the capital markets and corporate bond industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years’ credit, macro or industry research analysis
- Exceptional research, analysis and business writing skills
- Experience analyzing a variety of North American industry sectors
- Prior corporate credit analysis experience preferred
- Ability to produce compelling, topical and thematic industry commentary
- Demonstrated relationship building and relationship management skills
- Prior experience analyzing the non-bank financial institutions sector preferred
