Our AM Law 20 client is seeking to recruit an Analyst with financial services industry research and analysis experience to conduct in-depth industry/market research and identify and recommend new business and client development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Business Development leaders with new business development, client development and client management inititatives
- Research and gather competitive data and analyze market, company and industry trends
- Develop and maintain client coverage lists highlighting potential new business opportunities
- Work closely with Competitive and Business Intelligence teams on deep-dive company, market and industry research projects in support of firm partners, attorneys and other key stakeholders
- Gather and analyze data and information from various internal and public sources with the goal of identifying potential new business opportunities
- Gain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, firm partners, key clients, and practice expertise in order to develop actionable intelligence and new business development recommendations
- Support and lead special projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years’ of business development, market research or competitive analysis experience in the financial services or banking industry required
- Experience working at a law firm or professional services organization is a plus
- Confident and highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Creative mindset with the ability to work independently and develop actionable recommendations
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to process and summarize complex information
- Demonstrated ability to execute and achieve measurable results
- Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure and often stressful corporate environment
- Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail
- Resourceful and driven attitude with a “can do” attitude
- Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends required
