Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Associate to support capital formation, business development, fundraising and investor relations objectives with a primary focus on private credit strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support capital formation, business development, fundraising and investor relations objectives with a primary focus on private credit strategies
  • Respond to investor inquires from existing and prospective private institutional investors
  • Leverage internal and external resources to manage RFPs, DDQs, NDAs and bespoke investor requests
  • Prepare, coordinate and distribute marketing, business development and investor relations materials, communications, presentations, offering memoranda, investor reports, legal documents, fact sheets and case studies
  • Create internal and external presentations
  • Develop and maintain competitor profiles and the broader alternative industry landscape
  • Collaborate across business groups on best practices to ensure consistency and quality of investor relations marketing materials
  • Work closely with investment and corporate strategy teams to support platform growth initiatives
  • Support ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience with a minimum 2 years of investor relations, business development or fundraising support experience at an alternative investment fund
  • Private credit business development/investor relations experience required
  • Standout candidates will have a mix of investment banking transaction execution and alternative investment fund business development/investor relations experience
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate effectively in a complex, rapidly changing and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, presentation and business writing skills
  • Highly motivated individual with a high-level of integrity and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to thrive in a lean team environment
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
