Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to provide operational project management support the firm’s global corporate transactional practice focused on the development, execution and delivery of complex client-focused projects to drive new business development and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and deliver complex client-focused projects focused on driving new business development and revenue growth
  • Develop strong relationship with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Own projects including defining and prioritizing objectives, coordinating with and updating stakeholders on progress and driving projects to delivery
  • Identify project risks, develop contingency plans and manage changes to projects plans
  • Work closely with partners, colleagues and key firm stakeholders to execute complex engagement letters including pricing and project scoping
  • Develop subject matter workstreams for new clients during the onboarding process and educate colleagues on deliverables and responsibilities
  • Diagnose problems with existing legal matters/engagements and develop solutions to get them back on track
  • Assist with high-volume domestic and international transactions simultaneously across multiple time zones and with varying deadlines
  • Create and implement processes and tools to track and manage project delivery
  • Develop resource plans and estimates for specific projects
  • Analyze, monitor and report on project budgets
  • Analyze data and metrics to determine project success
  • Develop after action reports for process improvement planning
  • Work with technology teams on project delivery efficiency, dashboards and other execution planning
  • Track and record time spend so clients can be billed accordingly
  • Manage and delegate tasks for junior team members

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience at a peer law firm or professional services firm
  • Legal project management experience supporting a corporate transactional practice strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience manager the full project lifecycle – scoping, pricing, budgeting, resource planning, engagement letters and delivery
  • Client-facing experience and strong relationship management skills required
  • Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Experience working on a global team with simultaneous projects across multiple time zones
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and long hours as required
  • Advanced MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with MS Project or Visio preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
