Our international Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Analyst with advanced business writing skills and interest in a career in legal marketing and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist business development and strategic marketing planning and execution
- Develop pitch materials and marketing collateral
- Work closely with lawyers supporting relevant practice development efforts
- Analyze internal data and business intelligence to indentify trends that could impact the practice groups
- Assist with proposal development, management of the the RFP / RFI process and tracking client pitches
- Analyze current and potential clients and indentify new business development and cross-selling opportunities
- Research sponsorship and speaking engagement opportunities and assist with submissions for practice related award opportunities
- Work closely with PR, events and internal communications colleagues
- Analyze industry trends and developments that can impact the firm’s IP litigation practice
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years’ legal marketing and/or business development experience
- Exposure to litigation or intellectual propery a plus
- Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to work well under pressure
