Our elite global law firm client is seeking to recruit a Client Proposals Supervisor to oversee the drafting of client proposals and engagement letters in accordance with internal policies and outside counsel guidelines and supervise junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the drafting of client proposals and engagement letters in accordance with internal policies and outside counsel guidelines and supervise junior team members
- Draft engagement letter in accordance with firm and client policies and legal standards
- Oversee department staffing to ensure deliverables are handled timely and accurately
- Oversee the work of junior team members
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for the department and produce financial reports for senior management
- Develop procedures to track and manage engagement letters documentation and compliance
- Manage day-to-day department operations
- Interact effectively with external clients and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the subject matter expert for client engagement information requests
- Manage the collection of required client waiver and engagement documentation
- Supervise junior team members, provide mentorship and professional development and spearhead team recruiting efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; JD preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience drafting client engagement letters/agreements at a law firm
- Minimum 1 year of team supervisory experience
- Advanced project management and time management skills
- Advance writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to travel as required
