Our elite global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Management Associate to support aircraft leasing and aviation financing investment strategies by performing portfolio and asset management, capital structure analysis, complex financial modeling, industry research, data and risk driver analysis, dashboard and report development and supporting capital raising for a $5B+ AUM investment platform.
Responsibilities:
- Support aircraft leasing and aviation financing investment strategies by performing portfolio and asset management, capital structure analysis, complex financial modeling, industry research, data and risk driver analysis, dashboard and report development and supporting capital raising for a $5B+ AUM investment platform
- Leverage data, financial models and analytics to provide thought leadership insight to the investment team
- Support all facets of the portfolio, new deal due diligence and investment value realization
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support asset management activities
- Maintain internal systems and develop analytical tools and automation
- Assist with strategic initiatives, investment return optimization and capital formation
- Attend and participate in industry events and board meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record
- 2+ years of portfolio management, asset management or strategic finance experience
- ABS, aviation finance or aircraft leasing experience preferred
- Strong data and risk analytics knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to build financial models, analyze complex datasets, create dashboards and build analytical tools
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools a strong plus
- Ability to synthesize and disseminate complex data into actionable recommendations and communicate insights with key stakeholders
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and business writing skills
