Our elite global Financial Services client is seeking to recruiting a hands-on experienced Corporate Credit Analyst (Director level) to conduct credit research and evaluate credit quality across the TMT sector with a specific focus on the digital infrastructure and enterprise software sub-sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct credit research and evaluate credit quality across the TMT sector with a specific focus on the digital infrastructure and enterprise software sub-sectors
  • Lead the credit analytical process, perform sector analysis, analyze cash flows, prepare credit memos, and publish credit research and sector commentary
  • Interact frequently with investors, buyside and sell-side analysts, corporate issuer senior management and other key private credit and public credit markets stakeholders
  • Author and publish credit and industry/sector research
  • Lead and assist in the development of credit analytical tools, methodologies and processes
  • Lead and participate in investor and issuer meetings, roundtables and industry events
  • Operate effectively in a deadline driven and fast-paced transactional environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of corporate credit analytical, credit research or financial analytical experience at a bank or related financial institution
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and evaluating complex corporate credit across the TMT sector
  • Experience analyzing credit in the digital infrastructure and/or enterprise software sub-sectors strongly preferred
  • Formal credit training experience preferred
  • Advanced financial modeling, cash flow analysis and financial statement analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong business writing, presentation and client relationship management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with key market participants
  • Strong knowledge of private and public credit markets

Our elite global Alternative Investment Fund client is seeking to recruit a VP to evaluate, drive and own the investment process from origination through execution for a specialized investment team that invests and executes strategic initiatives across the capital structure, asset classes and industry sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, drive and own the investment process from origination through execution for a specialized investment team that invests and executes strategic initiatives across the capital structure, asset classes and industry sectors
  • Lead the analysis and execution of incoming deal flow and investment opportunities across the fund platform
  • Source, structure and drive transaction valuation and due diligence from origination to close
  • Evaluate, lead and manage resources for complex, esoteric and ad-hoc deal flow and strategic initiatives
  • Review and oversee valuations, financial modeling and capital structure analysis and incorporate content and projections into actionable investment recommendations
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations and investment ideas to investment committees, senior firm leadership and external stakeholders
  • Execute business development objectives contributing to the firm’s growth strategy
  • Assist in developing strategy and marketing materials
  • Manage relationships with key external stakeholders and counterparties
  • Collaborate with firmwide investment and corporate strategy teams to execute on strategic priorities
  • Mentor, train and coach junior investment professionals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record; MBA/CFA a plus
  • 6+ years of alternative investing or investment banking experience with demonstrated capital structure analysis expertise across asset classes and industry sectors
  • Fundamental knowledge of alternative asset classes: private equity, private credit, opportunistic credit, special situations, hybrid capital, etc.
  • Advanced financial technical skills: capital structure analysis, financial modeling, valuation analysis
  • Highly motivated creative thinker with the ability to solve complex problems in a time sensitive environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to delegate and work autonomously while managing competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and business writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across the platform and influence key stakeholders
  • Proven experience leading and executing end-to-end transactions
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
