Our global Fintech client is seeking to recruit an experienced customer-facing Senior Product Strategist with demonstrated commercial product strategy and product development experience. The incumbent will have deep knowledge of the global credit markets, high yield bond, leveraged loan and/or CLO products and broad understanding of investment workflows and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a customer-facing product strategist and subject matter expert to develop a comprehensive product and content strategy for new product development, existing product enhancement and increased product commercialization across the credit markets
- Utilized the Agile methodology to create product roadmaps and business cases to meet new product delivery objectives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop a long-term and comprehensive product and content strategy
- Stay abreast of changes, trends and challenges facing the global credit markets as well as the broader competitive landscape
- Understand customer workflows, user challenges and product pain points
- Work closely with sector analysts to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the high yield bond, leveraged loan and CLO markets
- Collaborate with sales teams to recommend partnership, new business development and product integration opportunities and to assist in cross-sell and customer retention objectives
- Participated in industry conferences and roundtables and other key market participants to understand and leverage product commercialization opportunities
- Solicit customer and user feedback to enhance product offerings and assist internal marketing teams with user requirements and marketing collateral development
- Maximize customer experience and user engagement
- Lead commercial strategy and support sales enablement objectives, including assisting with product pricing and visual design initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of commercial product and content development experience in the capital markets, rating agency or commercial/investment banking industry
- Advanced understanding of the global credit markets and specific knowledge of high yield bonds, leveraged loans and/or CLOs
- Fundamental experience with data and research products
- Customer/market facing and commercial strategy experience
- Demonstrated success with end-to-end commercial product launches
- Willingness and ability to travel as required by the customer or business
