Our global Law Firm is seeking to recruit a Strategic Pricing Manager to manage day to day workflow and implement pricing strategy across all practice groups, as well as provide strategic advice to pricing analysts and assist attorneys with budgeting and pricing for RFP responses.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day workflow and implement pricing strategy across all practice groups
- Provide strategic advice to pricing analysts and assist attorneys with budgeting and pricing for RFP responses
- Advise attorneys on the development, evaluation, and execution of matter budgets and alternative fee arrangements
- Oversee pricing analysts work product and ensure accuracy and delivery to meet client needs
- Draft new content, attorney communications and respond to pricing requests and RFP responses
- Establish processes, templates and best practices that can be used by analysts
- Work closely with the Business Development team and coordinate the Pricing team’s efforts to provide strategic guidance on the firm’s approach to RFP responses
- Advise on rate strategy and creative fee structures
- Assist with ongoing oversight of fee arrangement tracking and reporting
- Advise on facilitating the execution of automation pricing strategies
- Assist the Pricing Director in developing a uniform legal project management process for all practice groups
- Mentor, coach and train a team of pricing analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years’ strategic pricing or project management experience at a large global law firm or professional services organization
- Prior experience mentoring and coaching junior staff
- Advanced project management and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated and outgoing personality
- Prior experience responding to RFPs
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to influence others
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, business writing and presentation skills
