Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst to analyze a credit quality, perform quantitative financial due diligence and credit research and market commentary on the North American insurance sector.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit quality and author market commentary across the US regulated insurance sector (P&C or Life)
- Analyze the credit quality of issued debt and perform default risk analysis
- Participate in due diligence meetings with senior management of insurance companies under coverage
- Interact with buy side / sell side analysts, institutional investors, investment bankers and the financial media
- Perform complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- Participate in the internal credit committee review process
- Communicate analysis with key market participants and media stakeholders
- Author and publishing credit research and industry trend analysis reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years’ credit analysis, actuarial or corporate financial analysis experience in the US property & casualty or life insurance industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of the P&C and/or Life Insurance industry
- Fundamental knowledge of fixed income and debt capital markets
- Strong business writing, communication and presentation skills
- Fundamental quantitative finance and accounting knowledge
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly motivated
