Our global Capital Markets client is seeking to recruit a Structured Finance Modeling Manager to manage a team of analysts, establish, execute and manage the quality and delivery of financial models across all ABS asset classes and effectively interact with firm clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of structured finance modeling analysts
- Establish, execute and manage the quality and delivery of complex financial models across all ABS asset classes
- Work directly with firm clients to understand their product needs
- Utilize client feedback and interact with internal product, marketing and sales teams to enhance current product offerings and brainstorm new product ideas
- Conduct hands-on financial modeling of various ABS transactions
- Coach, mentor and professionally develop junior team members
- Actively participate in recruiting top talent to organically grow the team
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and IT Engineers to maintain and enhance the analytics library
- Proactively build new models and develop analytic tools to enhance products and services
- Develop best practices ensure product quality
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ structured finance analysis and financial modeling experience at a rating agency, financial consulting firm or investment bank
- Deep knowlege of ABS asset classes
- Hands-on financial modeling skills
- Prior team leadership/people management experience
- Demonstrated experience establishing processes to deliver and validate complex financial models
- Exceptional client service skills and proven ability to interact effectively with clients and understand their product needs
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and assist in driving the product development process
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel skill and technical apptitude
- Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
- Exposure to project/infrastructure finance and illiquid/esoteric asset classes preferred
