Our global Legal Services client is seeking to recruit a Writer to draft compelling stories, articles and original content for internal and external consumption. As a key member of the marketing communications team she/he will interview key stakeholders, draft original content and create marketing collateral promoting the firm’s rich cultural identity with a particular focus on diversity & inclusion, alumni accomplishments, recruitment efforts, women’s initiatives and pro bono work.
Responsibilities:
- Draft original content, develop marketing collateral and write compelling stories promoting the firm’s culture, diversity & inclusion, as well as assisting in writing content promoting practice expertise, influential lawyer biographies and legal brand visibility
- Write topical feature stories highlighting high-profile legal cases, firm accomplishments and the diversity of the firm’s lawyers
- Distribute content across all firm platforms, external publications and social media platforms
- Support strategic marketing initiatives through the development of traditional marketing collateral, practice group write-ups, lawyer bio’s, web content and other write publication materials
- Assist with directory, rankings and awards submissions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or English (preferred)
- 5+ years’ relevant law firm, professional services, financial services or legal/business journalism experience
- Advanced writing, editing, proofreading and research skills
- Experience writing original content focused on promoting cultural issues
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
