Our international Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Marketing Communications Analyst to oversee the firm’s global rankings and directory submission process.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the directory nomination and submissions process and nominations
  • Manage project deliverables and provide strategic advice to business development and communications colleagues regarding the directory submission process
  • Manage the rankings program globally
  • Manage program quality control and ensure that all stakeholders adhere to key guidelines for final submissions
  • Manage a marketing communications assistant and provide training and professional development guidance
  • Monitor the editorial calendar to determine when additional resources are required
  • Analyze directory submission and rankings opportunities and make appropriate recommendations
  • Develop training sessions, best practices guides and process documents for internal consumption
  • Assist with external relationship management (vendors, consultants, freelancers, etc.)
  • Analyze KPI’s and perform comparative analysis of legal industry rankings
  • Evaluate new award opportunities and assist with writing original content
  • Oversee the awards industry calendar, monitor relevant awards opportunities and evaluate the success of internal awards submission programs
  • Manage time sensitive project deliverables and deadlines
  • Work closely with marketing senior management, partners and attorneys to coordinate the firm’s participation at industry events and awards ceremonies
  • Assist with media relations initiatives including the preparation of relevant materials for media interviews and events
  • Assist with content development for marketing collateral and publications
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ marketing communications experience at a law firm, professional services organization or financial institution
  • Prior legal/business publication awards and/or directory rankings experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, creative and detail oriented
