Our client, an established NYC based Hedge Fund, is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join their team that specializes in sourcing and purchasing distressed securities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase trade claims related bankruptcy holdings, distressed securities, and other high-risk fixed income products
- Negotiate deal terms and contracts
- Develop relationships with senior level credit professionals/management
- Market the firm’s products and services through heavy telephone work
Position Requirements:
- 1-2 year work experience, preferably sales related
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
- Ideal candidates must be interested in a career in sales / marketing
- Highly motivated, high energy, Type ‘A’ personality
- Personality traits: Street smart, tenacious, aggressive, thick skinned
- Successful candidates will have a strong desire and motivation to succeed
- Former collegiate athletes encouraged to apply
