Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Manager Legal Pricing to supervise and mentor pricing analysts, oversee day-to-day operations of the pricing team and lead collaboration with attorneys on budgeting and RFP response pricing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with attorneys on budgeting and RFP response pricing strategies
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the pricing team
- Supervise and mentor junior pricing team members
- Respond to pricing requests from attorneys and oversee the team’s accuracy and delivery in a timely manner
- Advise attorneys and other key stakeholders on alternative fee arrangements and budget matters
- Work closely with business development colleagues to provide strategic pricing guidance on rate strategies and fee structures for RFP responses
- Analyze and recommend changes to client outside counsel guidelines, engagement agreements, and fee arrangement documentation to ensure compliance with the firm’s professional responsibility policies
- Develop a collaborate working relationship with legal project managers across all departments
- Assist with developing best practices, process improvement projects and automation strategies
- Provide training, coaching and mentorship for junior pricing analysts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience with a minimum 3 years of pricing experience at a law firm
- Minimum 1 year of supervising, coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Advanced project management and relationship management skills
- Advanced communication and business writing skills
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvement projects
