Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit several Senior Business Development Directors to lead new business development and long-term revenue growth objectives with high yield North American issuers in the Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services and/or Power & Utilities sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development objectives with North American based high yield corporate issuers in the Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services or Power & Utilities sector
  • Assist with coverage and growth of existing client relationships
  • Collaborate with the global business development team and executive leadership to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
  • Promote a cohesive messaging strategy that will help drive revenue and develop recurring business opportunities with existing customers and new prospects
  • Work with global counterparts on cross-border business development opportunities
  • Engage with customers and prospects to discuss industry trends, strategic opportunities across the fixed income and leveraged capital markets industry and to promote the firm’s competitive advantages and value-added propositions
  • Develop market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry research and analysis
  • Create proposals, RFPs, new business pitch materials and marketing content
  • Document client meetings and prospect outreach activity in internal databases and CRM systems

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ debt capital markets investment banking or corporate corporate banking experience
  • Broad capital markets knowledge and high yield business development/origination experience
  • Demonstrated client relationships with North American corporate issuers in the Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services or Power & Utilities sector
  • Demonstrated new business development, client marketing and relationship management skills
  • Coverage relationships with C-level treasury and finance executives in the North American Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services or Power & Utilities sector
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • MBA preferred
