Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Manager Practice Innovation to manage internal stakeholder and vendor relationships, oversee innovative product solutions, identify, adopt and champion cutting-edge legal technologies, legal tools and AI applications and develop processes that drive innovation and knowledge sharing with attorneys and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal stakeholder and vendor relationships, oversee innovative product solutions, identify, adopt and champion cutting-edge legal technologies, legal tools and AI applications and develop processes that drive innovation and knowledge sharing with attorneys and clients
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Create and execute change management and communications strategies to promote idea sharing with a variety of stakeholders
- Create documentation, training materials, user-guides and tutorials for systems administrators
- Manage the innovative solutions portfolio ensuring compliance with the firm’s strategic objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate vendor contacts, ensure vendor products meet attorney requirements and coordinate system upgrades, installations and troubleshooting with external vendors
- Collaborate with technology and systems teams to ensure innovation solutions are properly integrated with internal systems
- Analyze and report on the innovative solutions usage and make necessary recommendations for user improvement
- Research and evaluate new technologies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of legal knowledge management at a law firm or third-party legal industry service provider or technology vendor
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal technologies and innovative legal industry technologies products and data solutions
- Advanced project management, analytical, time management and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors
- Proven ability to learn and master new technologies and applications quickly
- Advance MS Office skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
