Our global Media/Advertising client is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst to assist in coordinating and reviewing consolidated monthly and quarterly management results, participate in technical accounting research and documentation, assist with analyzing network results for both internal and external parties, and managing ad hoc projects on a regional and global basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform balance sheet analysis and analyze the accounting and operational quality of actual and budgeted earnings, ensuring US GAAP compliance
  • Assist agencies in resolving intercompany differences/disputes, review the monthly wins & losses of network agencies and process management fees for the network
  • Support reporting matters to agencies and liaise with parent company
  • Confirm that Investment/Equity balances are properly eliminated in the monthly network consolidation
  • Assist with technical accounting research and recommend solutions to various US GAAP and reporting issues
  • Prepare quarterly forecast presentations for senior management
  • Review real estate requests to prepare for senior management approval, assist with ad hoc projects and perform SOX testing
  • Interact with external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Recommend quality and process improvements
  • Assist with ad hoc financial reporting projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years’ Big 4, Mid-Tier Public Accounting or Media/Advertising industry accounting experience
  • General knowledge of US GAAP accounting and internal control principles
  • Technical proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively interact with regional and global senior management and key finance/accounting stakeholders
