Our international Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an experienced Electronic Library Resources Manager to manage day to day department operations and oversee external vendor relationships and contract negotiations/renewals for firm wide electronic library and knowledge management resources.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key point of contact for all external electronic knowledge management vendor relationships
- Work closely with department senior management to negotiate new vendor contracts, onboard new vendors and lead the contract renewal process with existing vendors
- Maintain the firm’s library system and ensure system accessibility for all firm personnel
- Manage day-to-day workflow for the knowledge management systems
- Administer and manage the firm’s electronic resource management tools, research request tracking applications and mobile research applications
- Promote electronic resources and department capabilities to key internal stakeholders
- Maintain the contract management system and serve as the key point of contact with external vendors for all contract related inquiries
- Perform KPI analysis and management reporting
- Assist with special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MLS, MLIS or JD required
- 7+ years’ Legal Resource Management experience required
- Exceptional leadership ability
- Fundamental knowledge of leading electronic knowledge management vendors and products (e.g. Lexis/Nexis, ResourceHub, Westlaw, Research Monitor, Quest, SydneyPlus, etc.)
- Demonstrated negotiation, contract management and vendor relationship management ability
- Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
