Our global Private Credit Fund client is seeking to recruit a Fund Accountant to assist with managing day to day fund accounting, investor reporting and financial data analysis for a variety of entities in their private credit / direct lending business unit.


  • Assist managing day to day accounting for multiple private credit funds and entities
  • Prepare NAVs, reconcilations, journal entries and work papers in support of the month-end, quarter-end and annual close process
  • Prepare reconciliations of investment positions and fund cash
  • Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annual)
  • Track and document capital calls, management and incentive fees, distributions, accruals and fund expenses
  • Collborate closely with fund operations, investor relations and compliance teams
  • Monitor fund compliance
  • Analyze fundraising requests and investor reporting
  • Manage annual audit and tax reporting process and work closely with internal accounting and external audit partners


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 3+ years’ fund accounting experience
  • Demonstrated accounting knowledge across a variety of fund structures – standalone entities, private equity funds, master feeder structures, private debt, side by side entities, etc.
  • Fundamental knowledge of term loans, revolving credit, leveraged loans and DDTLs
  • Prior investment management focused public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Broad knowledge of fund accounting and financial reporting theory
  • Mature, motivated and high attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively various internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced technical skills

  • Support senior IR, Sales and Marketing colleauges with fundraising and investor relations initiatives with global institutional investors
  • Provide internal sales and marketing support
  • Assist in developing marketing collateral and pitch materials
  • Respond promptly to RFI and RFP requests
  • Create and submit DDQs
  • Analyze investor data and investor reporting requirements
  • Provide support to global capital raising initiatives across all investment strategies


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of investor relations, sales or marketing support experience in the financial services industry
  • Fundamental knowledge of the institutional investment management industry
  • Demonstrated experience responding to RFP and RFI requests
  • Experience creating DDQs preferred
  • Strong business writing and MS Excel skills

  • Lead and/or serve as a key member of client engagement teams

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, deliver quality client service and assist with client marketing and business development initiatives
  • Assist with the delivery of new products, features and strategic initiatives using the Agile methodology

  • 2+ years’ client engagement experience in management consulting, professional services, asset management, alternative investment management or wealth management industry

  • Excellent communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel domesticall and internationally as clients require (50% minimum required)
