Our global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a Sales Operations Associate to support fundraising and investor relations with the development of marketing materials, investor analytics and the timely response to investor inquires (RFPs, DDQs, reporting, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing collateral, fundraising materials and client presentations that include detailed investment analytics
  • Collaborate with product and investment teams to market funds and firm strategies
  • Analyze and review complex data and synthesize into concise and relevant points
  • Write focused and high-quality responses to RFPs that support the firm’s global fundraising objectives
  • Develop fundamental knowledge of the firm’s investment strategies, investment approach and operational functions to effectively respond to prospective investor requests
  • Utilize internal and external data sources to create customized investor responses
  • Collaborate effectively across the firm to gather and incorporate key stakeholder input during the RFP process
  • Create recurring DDQs and RFPs for existing investors on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Research and analyze competitors and their fundraising efforts
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, special projects, ad hoc requests and the development of best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of investor relations or fundraising support experience for alternative investment, private equity or hedge fund investment strategies

Our global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a lateral Investment Banking Analyst (Leveraged Finance or M&A) to be a key member of their global middle market direct lending team. The Associate will will work directly with sophisticated institutional investors on fund formation, fundraising, fund development and investment analysis. The qualified candidate will have advanced financial modeling and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform institutional fundraising and fund development for the firm’s main funds and separately managed accounts
  • Participate in meetings with institutional investors, private equity sponsors and prospective clients and assist with structuring, negotiation and the formation of new funds
  • Develop client presentations, pitch materials and analytics and marketing collateral
  • Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring, performance analysis and financial data management (from origination to payoff)
  • Perform investment analysis and underwrite new loan transactions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of leveraged finance or M&A investment banking experience

  • Fundamental knowledge of financial analysis and accounting concepts
  • Formal credit training is a plus

Our global Alternative Investment Management client ($9B+ AUM) is seeking to recruit a Vice President Corporate Finance and oversee the day-to-day corporate finance function, streamline and enhance the firm’s FP&A processes and serve as a key member of the financial strategy leadership team. The incumbent will be an investment banker seeking a pivot to the buy side (FIG coverage preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CFO and Management Company Controller, oversee the day-to-day corporate finance function, streamline and enhance the firm’s FP&A processes and serve as a key member of the financial strategy leadership team
  • Perform monthly and quarterly financial statement analysis, profit center analysis and drive the development of KPIs and predictive metrics (expenses, margin, staffing, revenue, etc.)
  • Maintain, enhance and streamline the firm’s financial projection model to allow for deep dive scenario analysis, fund performance analysis, the development of user-friendly dashboards and greater transparency
  • Develop a 3-5 years financial projection model
  • Oversee the firm’s budgeting process
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management on budget planning, forecasting, tracking and variance analysis
  • Perform cash flow analysis, analyze current and projected cash balances and refine the current cash projection model to make is more user-friendly and transparent
  • Connect the refined cash projection model to the financial projection model to provide more seamless updates and to determine cash available for investing in the firm or its funds
  • Manage investment team and non-investment team forecasting, planning and modeling
  • Work closely with HR on staffing projections and hiring initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years of Investment Banking coverage and execution experience required (FIG experience preferred)
  • Advanced financial modeling experience and advanced technical modeling skills (Excel, VBA, etc.)
  • Fundamental corporate finance knowledge with strong budgeting and forecasting skills, the ability to create budgets, understand cost drivers and how to reduce costs
  • Strategic and commercial thinker
  • Strong financial presentation skills – ability to create, synthesize and present complex financial analysis to key stakeholders

  • Provide senior leadership with investor relations, sales and marketing coverage support
  • Interact frequently with investors and provide timely responses to inquires for account information, data requests and fund performance analytics
