Our global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit an AVP Fundraising Operations to lead operational support for all fundraising objectives through the development of marketing materials, investor analytics and the timely response to investor inquires (RFPs, DDQs, reporting, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Create marketing collateral, fundraising materials and client presentations that include detailed investment analytics
- Collaborate with product and investment teams to market funds and firm strategies
- Analyze and review complex data and synthesize into concise and relevant points
- Write focused and high-quality responses to RFPs that support the firm’s global fundraising objectives
- Develop fundamental knowledge of the firm’s investment strategies, investment approach and operational functions to effectively respond to prospective investor requests
- Utilize internal and external data sources to create customized investor responses
- Collaborate effectively across the firm to gather and incorporate key stakeholder input during the RFP process
- Create recurring DDQs and RFPs for existing investors on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Research and analyze competitors and their fundraising efforts
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, special projects, ad hoc requests and the development of best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of investor relations, fundraising or sales support experience for alternative investment, private equity or hedge fund investment strategies
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Outgoing, intellectually curious and highly motivated
- Advance writing and communication skills
