Our global Investment Management client is seeking to recruit a mid-level Product Manager with multi-channel product ownership, strategy and fixed income product marketing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and product positioning for a variety of fixed income distribution products (muni’s, taxable securities, etc.)
- Conduct market intelligence and product trend analysis to develop cutting-edge product content
- Work closely with portfolio managers and portfolio management teams to develop and execute compelling product strategies across multiple distribution channels
- Liaise closely with trading, compliance, accounting, legal and marketing to ensure a coherent product strategy is being executed
- Develop clear market alignment product line rationalization for each distribution channel
- Work closely with product marketing to ensure consistent marketing strategy across distribution channel
Requirements:
- MBA or CFA preferred
- Series 65 preferred
- 5+ years’ relevant fixed income product management and product strategy experience
- Broad knowledge of various fixed income products with a particular focus on taxable and municipal fixed income product strategies
- Fundamental understanding of product distribution channels in the investment management industry (RIA, Broker Dealer, Institutional, Family Office/Private Banking, etc.)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
