Our international Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager with proven experience managing the delivery of complex technology projects in a fast-paced highly matrixed professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Synthesize business plans and strategies into programs for solution delivery, enhancement, and support
- Create and execute plans and strategies in close collaboration with business teams and ensure IT plans align correctly with business strategies
- Manage simultaneous projects of various size and complexity as assigned by the PMO Director
- Develop, document and manage project tasks, structures, dependencies, and timelines
- Guide teams on key project priorities, identify and resolve potential risks and issues and provide relevant status updates to key business stakeholders
- Manage external vendor relations on various projects
- Mentor and coach junior project management team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years’ project management and business analysis experienced in a fast-paced, highly matrix and often highly political environment
- Legal, management consulting or financial services industry project management experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to liaise with key business stakeholders, analyze complex business needs/problems and apply practical knowledge to develop solutions
- Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional time management skills
- Adept at influencing key technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced planning, project management and prioritization skills
- Advanced presentation skills with the proven ability to mediate and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders in a politically charged environment
