Our global FinTech client is seeking to recruit a Product Manager with demonstrated product strategy, vision, roadmapping experience in the financial services industry. The incumbent will have enterprise client- facing and product commercialization experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level product strategy, product vision and roadmaps for a leading global B2B SaaS platform in the capital markets industry
- Analyze macro industry trends to understand how the firm’s product platform fits in the marketplace
- Conduct high-level client facing meetings to understand the user experience, pain points and product and workflow requirements to identify and develop cutting edge product features
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive commercial strategies
- Drive and manage product roadmaps and clearly communicate product vision and planning with key stakeholders
- Work closely with business development, engineering teams and tactical product owners to ensure customer product and workflow requirements are clearly defined and prioritized for development and adoption
- Interact with current and prospective clients to understand workflow and marketplace requirements
- Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategy for new product launches
- Develop and support new product training sessions with internal sales, marketing and client services teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering and QA teams to ensure all user requirements are clearly understood and design features are properly tested
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 years’ B2B strategic product management and commercial strategy experience in the financial services industry
- B2B SaaS platform and product experience preferred
- Demonstrated client-facing relationship management and leadership skills
- Confident and creative personality with demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced late stage start up environment
- Knowledge of capital markets, structured finance and/or project finance preferred
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-function internal stakeholders, customers and prospects from product vision to product launch
- Ability to travel periodically
