Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit an Operational Risk Analyst to perform operational risk assessments for a porfolio of commercial loan servicing clients with a primary focus on the US commercial real estate securitization (CMBS) market.
Responsbilities:
- Perform operational risk assessments for a porfolio of US commercial loan servicing clients
- Asset risk exposure by analyzing internal controls, best practices and policies and procedures
- Prepare and present operational risk assessments to internal risk management committees
- Manage portfolio relationships with senior management at commercial loan servicers
- Write comprehensive reports detailing operational risk exposure and remediation recommendations
- Assist with writing and publishing commercial real estate market research and commentary
- Conduct cash flow analysis, securitization market analysis and physical site inspections
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of operational risk, structured credit risk, compliance or internal audit experience
- Experience in the loan servicing, commercial real estate and/or commercial securitization market required
- Demonstrated knowledge of the US commercial real estate market
- Ability and willingness to travel 25%
- Advanced analytical and business writing skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel skills
