Our global FinTech client is seeking to recruit a Manager to lead managed data services team and oversee the build out, enhancement and oversight of the firm’s managed data platform and ensure continuous data quality for customer workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product and Client Services teams to build and enhance the managed data platform
- Define, develop and manage data models, data dictionaries and taxonomies in support of managed data and analytics platform
- Manage the data validation process and continuously ensure data quality for platform users
- Ensure managed data processes and capabilities are efficient and effective
- Provide user support and resolve customer data issues
- Work closely with platform integration and data sourcing partners
- Identify and analyze new data sources and consistently work to enhance and improve the platform and data content
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of data analysis and data management experience in a managed data services environment
- Data management experience in the financial services industry
- Experience developing data models, data dictionaries and defining taxonomies
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Python
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work directly with users and resolve critical data issues
