Our global Financial Industry client is seeking recruit a Statistical Analyst to perform statistical marketing analysis and industry trend analysis in support of business development objectives. This is ideal for a candidate seeking a long-term career in client-facing business development and strategic marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex data and statistical analysis to identify and evaluate market trends used for long-term strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct market research and provide Senior Relationship Managers with client marketing and business development support
- Monitor debt capital markets transaction activity, leveraged buyout market trends and M&A activity and assess potential business development opportunities for the firm
- Develop capital markets (investment banking) firm profiles, bio’s of key senior coverage bankers, marketing collateral and client presentation materials
- Assist the business development team with client relationship management and long-term marketing strategy development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or Quantitative Financial discipline required
- 2-3 years’ marketing analytics, statistical analysis or data analysis experience
- Keen interest in a long-term strategic marketing or client relationship management career
- Fundamental knowledge of financial and capital markets
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with statistical programming packages such as R required
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to function in an entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication, business writing and presentation development skills
