Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Credit Analyst to assess risk and credit quality of a CMBS securities portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Assess various factors affecting the credit quality and default risk in North American commercial real estate and CBMS markets
- Analyze commercial real estate property valuations and loan structures
- Preform surveillance of loan levels, cash flow performance and CMBS bond structures
- Interact with investors, industry analysts and key commercial real estate market leaders
- Participate in property site inspections as required
- Present analysis and recommendations to internal credit committees
- Author and publish industry trend analysis and credit research reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ commercial real estate finance, credit or underwriting experience
- Ability to analyze complex credit structures and formulate sound opinions
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong business writing ability
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external audiences
