Our global Investment Banking client is seeking to recruit a experienced VP to manage M&A and related corporate finance advisory engagements in the Media & Telecom sector. The incumbent will play a key role in marketing and business development efforts and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly interact with clients, investors and potential acquirers
- Assist with new business development, marketing and engagement planning
- Manage all phases new client development and the transaction execution process (M&A, Debt/Equity Financing, Private Placements, etc.)
- Develop and execute management presentations, confidential offering documentation and related transaction support analysis and materials
- Distill complex valuation and financial analysis
- Manage the financial due diligence process
- Spearhead client and sector coverage
- Lead outreach efforts with potential investors and acquirers
- Train, mentor and supervise junior bankers
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
- MBA preferred
- 6+ years’ Investment Banking experience (M&A focus)
- Prior transaction execution and a keen interest in the TMT sector
- Fundamental knowledge of corporate finance, valuation analysis and accounting principles
- Passion for transaction advisory and execution
- Proven VP level investment banking engagement experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit with excellent communication and presentation skills
