Our global Financial Services client is seeking to recruit a Senior Counsel to provide sound legal advice to internal stakeholders and draft, negotiate and enforce complex third-party technology and business contracts and agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze various corporate and transactional legal matters and provide senior management and key stakeholders with sound legal advice
- Analyze matters including, but not limited to intellectual property, data security, privacy, consulting/outsourcing agreements, etc.
- Review and analyze RFPs
- Draft and negotiate contracts and third-party service provider and technology provider agreements
- Advise internal stakeholders with potential legal, liability, regulatory and compliance issues arising from these agreements
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices and internal training programs
Requirements:
- JD and state bar membership in good standing
- 4+ years reviewing and analyzing complex technology/IP contracts and business transactions at a law firm or corporate legal department
- Advanced negotiating and contract drafting skills
- Prior experience negotiating and drafting technology focused agreements
- Ability to analyze complex legal matters and provide sound legal advice
- Ability to advise key stakeholders across the corporate structure
- Highly motivated and detail oriented with a deep belief in accountability
- Superb relationship management, project management and presentation skills
