Our global Fintech client is seeking to recruit a Sales Director to sell their solutions platform to C-level risk officers and market strategists in the fixed income debt capital markets industry. This is a new logo direct sales hunter position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a long-term sales strategy, effectively manage pipeline growth and successfully close new logo business based on defined sales targets
- Identify and engage senior risk management decision makers in the debt capital markets industry
- Drive new business revenue growth while maximizing existing revenue retention
- Negotiate and close complex sales
- Work closely with Sales Management, Marketing and Product to develop a unified market penetration strategy
- Collaborate with Product Development to enhance product features based on user feedback and competitive intelligence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 8+ years’ consultative sales experience in the global financial services industry
- Prior experience selling financial industry data, analytics and software based workflow solutions
- Well developed relationships with key risk management decision makers in the capital markets industry
- Proven ability to develop a robust sales pipeline and execute revenue growth strategy
- Knowledge of capital markets risk management products and solutions
- Advanced negotiation and sale closing skills
- Ability to travel as required
