Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator to support executive brand visibility communications with a focus on conferences, industry events, speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities for firm partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Support executive brand visibility communications with a focus on conferences, industry events, speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities for firm partners
  • Manage a variety of project related to conference timeline tracking, eligibility deadlines, participation requirements, etc.
  • Streamline processes to track and organize conference and engagement participation
  • Help identify and recommend compelling conferences and visibility raising engagements for partners
  • Track internal approvals for conference participation and ensure arrangements are confirmed
  • Work closely with senior communications management and external stakeholders and vendors
  • Build and maintain relationships with elite financial and legal industry conference organizers and relevant industry sponsorship partners
  • Assist with scheduling media engagement and interview opportunities for partners and attorneys attending and speaking at conferences
  • Assist with special projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of public relations, media relations, marketing communications or executive visibility communications experience
  • PR Agency, Financial Services, Professional Services or Legal Services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced project management skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to hit deadlines while managing competing priorities
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and business writing skills
  • Highly motivated and organized with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholder

Our elite global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager with regulatory practice experience to lead the development and execution of strategic business development, revenue growth and brand positioning for the firm’s global Cybersecurity/Data Privacy practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic business development, revenue growth and brand positioning for the firm’s global Cybersecurity/Data Privacy (Regulatory) practice
  • Collaborate closely with global partners to develop comprehensive strategies to develop new business with existing clients and top prospects
  • Develop client outreach strategies based on market, industry, competitor and trend analysis
  • Manage all of the steps in the client outreach process including bespoke pitch development, research and analysis and marketing collateral development and competitive intelligence gathering
  • Oversee the RFP process including the development of customized responses
  • Manage practice brand positioning including messaging, client communication programs and targeted campaigns
  • Develop and execute various new business initiatives including events, seminars and thought leadership pieces
  • Evaluate and oversee sponsorship opportunities
  • Analyze and report on ROI for various new business and client marketing initiatives (events, conferences, client entertainment, etc.)
  • Supervise a Business Development Specialist

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of legal business development and strategic marketing experience
  • Regulatory practice experience required
  • Cybersecurity or data privacy practice experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with partners, practice leaders and key stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment
  • Demonstrated success in developing creative ideas and influencing key decision makers
  • Experience supervising staff or demonstrated team leadership experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
