Our global Investment Banking client is seeking to recruit a lateral Associate to work on corporate finance and capital markets advisory engagements in the Technology sector. Tech sector experience preferred, but not required. Associate level M&A execution experience mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key aspects of client engagements
- Plan, structure and execute corporate finance transactions
- Advise corporate and private clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, capital markets and a variety of other corporate finance transactions
- Build complex financial models and conduct valuation analysis
- Prepare pitch books and other client marketing materials and assist with preparation for client meetings
- Conduct business and industry research
- Participate in client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Mathematics preferred
- 3 years’ M&A transaction execution experience required
- Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
- Superb interpersonal and business presentation skills
- Associate level financial modeling and valuation analysis knowledge
- Driven to build a career in investment banking and willingness to put the time and effort into accomplishing this goal
